Tasks and role details -
The role reports into the Finance Manager and includes the following broad responsibilities -
- Budgeting, Forecasting and Business planning
- Due Diligence analysis - assisting with establishment of newly acquired management projects and ad hoc project work
- Actively be involved in the development of business cases.
- Executive reporting, analytics, and presentation to enable decision making
- Management of a small team
- Lead role in managing the month end reporting process
- In depth analysis on results
- Business partnering with the operation teams, all departments and financial stakeholders
- Lead role in process and systems improvement projects
Desirable background -
- CPA/CA qualified
- Strong budgeting background desired
- Some staff management of supervision of more junior staff and a desire to lead staff in the future
- Excellent communication skills and business partnering with key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Someone who has been involved with systems implementation or process improvement projects would be an advantage
- Retail property/retail or fund accounting background advantageous but flexible
- Previous Yardi knowledge will be beneficial but not essential
