Your Opportunity
Looking for a unique person. Someone who is happy to do this role now as a hands on Management Accountant, working as a natural business partner and getting to know the stakeholders and the team AND has the natural communication and leadership skills to be a succession plan for future leadership.
The role works with the operations team and the commercial division of this large, successful, well recognised Australian business, with global reach.
We are looking for the person who can use their financial acumen to guide and provide insights that result in a continued efficient, effective and flexible operations and manufacturing process. With every interaction, you are a natural communicator with a true commercial business partner style who can service your internal stakeholders to redefine success for them, and the business.
You will cover stakeholders from plant, supply chain, warehousing, procurement and R&D plus sales and marketing.
Adding value through efficient reporting and demonstrating your strong understanding of the flow of goods from raw material to shelf, you will add value through your expertise around numbers and how they tell a story. You will understand the "why" behind the numbers and use your ability to guide non-finance stakeholders to commercial success and efficiency and influence them toward positive results for all areas of manufacturing and operations.
Using your skills in Excel and ideally SAP, to do the budgeting, forecasting, month and year end reporting and analysis, will also form part of the role. As will stocktake and fixed asset control, WIP monitoring on capital projects and expenditure and resource forecasting. You will also provide insights on cost optimisation and volume sensitivities.
You will understand KPI's and have a proven ability to use your initiative to help achieve these, as well as be able to understand and highlight relevant risks and opportunities.
Your Profile
Proven ability to be a natural communicator and leader and happy to be a hands on business partner focused, Management Accountant initially.
Qualified CA/CIMA/CPA with relevant leadership potential and must have the proven operations and manufacturing commercial acumen and experience to succeed in this true business partnering role. You will likely come from FMCG, Retail, Agriculture or a similar end to end product manufacturing company.
Ideally you will have SAP (or a similar ERP system), Power BI and you must have strong Excel skills.
You must bringa proven ability to business partner with operations, plant/site and manufacturing stakeholders.
This role can be based in Sydney CBD with willingness and ability to travel, expenses paid, once a month initially and down the track, twice a quarter, to Regional NSW.
NOTE - If you are prepared to 100% relocate to Regional NSW, that is a preferred option, and all expenses will be paid and as long as you have the business partnering and natural communication and leadership skills for the future, we may be flexible on some of the other required criteria.

You will start on $135,000 - $140,000 package including super, plus an bonus. (Neg for the right future leader). Hybrid and flexible work arrangements are also part of the offering.
