We have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our Finance team, for a 12- month contract, offering large scope for personal development, and the potential to stay on and join the team permanently. Working alongside our Support Office and operations team you will gain insight into how our business runs and be part of key strategic initiatives.
The Senior Management Accountant plays a key role in driving and delivering the finance function and reporting into our parent company. This great opportunity will see you step into a mentoring role where you will help manage and coach the accounting team and assist in delivering financial accounting activities for the whole business.
Your day to day will include:
- Group and divisional reporting, including the submission of results through Hyperion
- Payroll reporting, including leave reporting
- Coordinating month end deadlines and reviewing P&Ls
- Supporting the governance surrounding business processes, driving accountability through ensuring progress against business priorities
- Identifying and defining process & system improvements to enhance ability to deliver on objectives
- Managing and mentoring varying degrees of experienced team members
- Maintaining strong balance sheet governance
- Partnering with the Commercial, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to provide actionable insights to stakeholders to drive improved commercial decisions
- Assisting with tax compliance and reporting, including BAS and FBT
- Assisting with external audits

- Proven experience in preparing, understanding and analysing financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend alternate actions
- Ideally CA, CPA or similar business qualification
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Positive attitude to work with strong multi-tasking and time management skills
