As our Senior Management Accountant, reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager you will deliver high quality, customer service-oriented management accounting services for The Star Entertainment Group ensuring delivery to deadlines, effective business partnering and compliance with Group policies.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will work closely with finance business partnering teams to develop engagement plans.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Promote collaboration among all finance support teams within The Star, facilitating effective communication and accountability within Accounting Services to achieve company objectives
- Supervise, mentor and coach your team to deliver excellence and consistency in data management and management accounting.
- Provide effective business partnering by prioritising data accuracy, financial expertise, commercial outcomes, and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Provide support for internal/external audits and any due diligence work (as required)
- Identify and implement initiatives to achieve alignment, standardisation and excellence in reporting and analysis.
What we are looking for:
- Strong numeracy and communication skills, with a proven track record of meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with building relationships and effectively engaging stakeholders
- Over 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role coupled with a CA/CPA qualification
- Proficient in MS Excel with advanced skills, along with experience using large ERP systems such as Oracle and TM1
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and surpassing set KPIs and targets

Your advanced analytical and solution skills will be key to delivering the Star Entertainment Group’s vision, brand and values.
