About the Opportunity
The Senior Management Accountant will have the scope for reviewing & monitoring financial performance of the Contracts. The role requires a good communicator with advanced interpersonal skills who can build and maintain strong working relationships within the team and with stakeholders. The individual will utilize their solid level of technical knowledge of project accounting as well as driving change within a large project.
Responsibilities.
You will be responsible for delivering value added services to stakeholders through accurate, timely financial performance and project costs information and financial guidance in support of project delivery and decision-making. The position requires the individual to operate with a reasonable degree of autonomy and possess drive and self-motivation.
About you
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting.
Full membership in CPA, ICA or equivalent accounting qualification with significant post-membership experience, including:
- Experience in financial management.
- Good communicator with strong time management skills.
- Advanced interpersonal skills; build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Pro-active approach to problem solving.
- Ability to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance
- Demonstrated ability in financial planning and analysis.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
