Senior Management Accountant

Our business covers marina design, manufacturing, construction and civil works. Bellingham Marine’s reputation has been built on our Unifloat® and Unistack® products. As we continue our journey of growth, we are expanding our accounting team and seeking a Senior Management Accountant.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a Senior Management Accountant who reports to CFO and oversees daily operations of accounting department, monitors financial transactions and ensures delivery complete and accurate Monthly Financial Reports in timely manner.

Senior Management Accountant works across multiple entities in Australia and New Zealand and manages the responsibilities through team of three.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• CPA or CA qualification.
• Prior specialisation in leading accounting team.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience including recent experience in a similar role within a commercial environment.

LEVEL OF EXPERTISE:

• Proven experience in preparation of Monthly Management Accounts.
• Strong team leader, willing to lead within a culture of success.
• An analytical mind and commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to analyse and produce quality reporting to help with decision-making and advising on business changes.
• Advanced mathematical and analytical skills, with advanced experience in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Effective time management, including handling competing deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to build effective working relationships, both within and outside the organisation.
• Strong work ethic. 
• Experience in Sage CRE 300 (formerly Sage Timberline) desirable
