The team
ASIC's Enforcement and Compliance Group (ECG) is responsible for the conduct of ASIC's initial inquiries, compliance and enforcement work across all sectors excluding markets. The ECG comprises Investigation and Enforcement Action, Enforcement Inquiries and Compliance Enforcement (Evidence) Services and Enforcement Policy and Practice.
The Business Management Unit is responsible for directing and undertaking Business Management and support services for ECG.
The role
As a Senior Manager, Business Management Unit you will lead the Business Management Unit to coordinate and inform ECG's Executive Director and Senior Executives on budget, and resource management, the monitoring of business plan priorities, operational risk, business continuity, compliance and internal audit obligations and manage associated internal and external reporting and meetings.
About you
You will have demonstrated business partnering skills, with the credibility to operate at all levels. Well-developed strategic thinking, problem solving and analytical skills as evidenced through experience at a senior management level will be highly beneficial.
Strong management and leadership skills will be required including the ability to build high functioning teams and positively influence others to achieve results.
You will exercise sound judgement to select the most appropriate solution and to implement in an operational environment.
