Senior Business Project Manager

The opportunity: 

We’re looking for a Senior Business Project Manager to join our Program Optimisation team in Customer Channels and Growth (CCG) where you’ll be able to help us on our mission to become the world’s most customer centric healthcare company.

This means you’ll be at the heart of finding better ways to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world! 

We’re looking for someone to deliver large (circa $3m plus) strategic change projects, and you will be required to manage multiple projects at any given time. These projects are likely to be both complex and cross functional in nature and encompass both business and technical systems change.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Senior Project Manager role.
• Experience working in optimisation, delivery, and design environments.
• Comprehensive experience in program delivery with application of popular methodologies and frameworks.

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment and can be based in Melbourne, or Brisbane. 

We offer hybrid work arrangements, so you’ll have the flexibility to work from one of our offices in these locations or work from home. 

How will I help?

You will add value by:

• Managing and monitoring program delivery schedules to effectively achieve key deliverables (timing/budget/scope). 
• Identifying and tracking risks ensuring mitigation and solutions are developed in a timely manner.
• Providing strategic advice and guidance to influence prioritisation on backlog management, and key deliverable dates.
• Engaging and motivating stakeholders with clear direct communication encouraging role accountability. 
• Prioritising initiatives and programs in line with the HI strategy and delivery hub initiatives, mapping, and accounting for flow on impacts to the wider business unit.
• Working with a broad range of stakeholders providing strong partnering on business decisions to ensure programs and engagement outcomes are met.
• Ensuring that appropriate controls are in place to ensure the sustainability and ownership of the relevant business areas.
• Staying connected to and contributed to Bupa’s product delivery and go to market frameworks. 
• You may also carry out any other duties reasonably requested by Bupa from time to time.
