A unique, critical and rare opportunity to have great breadth in the role scope including consideration of broader holistic risk impacts e.g. credit, strategic etc where you’ll be focused on the ‘stakeholders’ viewpoint’ navigating through for our maturity.
- Strong business and risk background with exposure to the areas of responsibility including, but not necessarily limited to, Change, Product, Conduct & Policy risk and FAR requirements.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, stakeholder management and communication skills with an ability to operate, interact and influence at senior levels across a business including Executive & Senior Management
- Possess a high level of problem and resolution skills with an ability to operate with ambiguity and in agile manner, apply critical thinking skills and approach the role with a sceptical and inquisitive mindset to identify areas of focus
- Ability to work under broad direction, deal with competing demands and/or changing priorities, manage multiple initiatives and effectively manage expectations of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and deliver to strict deadlines.
- Technical knowledge and experience in non-financial and financial risk disciplines and functions
Supporting the Group Risk Divisional Executive Manager the Senior Manager Conduct, Change & Product Risk you’ll be responsible for driving governance, oversight and continuous improvement of the risk management practices of the business and first line risk teams primarily across the relevant areas of responsibility for the team (including, but not necessarily limited to, Change Risk including Transformation, Conduct Risk, Product Lifecycle Management, Remediation Risk Management and Policy Risk Management).
- Understand the current state, assess the aspiration of the organisation to uplift risk capability and culture and work within Group Risk Division and with the broader organisation to drive the maturity of the application of Conduct Risk.
- Engage and partner with key stakeholders Including but not limited to People & Culture,
- Accountability, Supplier Governance and Financial Crime.
- experienced navigating through for a mature organisation
- Support the Divisional Executive Manager function for Group Risk to actively support strategic, divisional and business initiatives from development through to successful execution
