About the Job
This is an initial 5 month engagement to work on a significant body of work.
The Senior ManagerCorporate Communications seeks to tell the Rest story through the production of key corporate and regulatory communications publications and activities, including the Annual Report and the Annual Members’ Meeting Notice and related communications activity.
Through deep engagement internally across the fund and externally with key strategic stakeholders, this role will protect and enhance the reputation of Rest with key stakeholders, including members. It is a highly collaborative role, requiring key communications attributes, including creativity, stakeholder management, issues management and a strategic mindset.
- Own all communications, production management and engagement activities related to Rest’s regulatory-required Corporate Communications outputs, ensuring member expectations and regulatory obligations are met.
- Produce corporate and regulatory communications artefacts, including the end-to-end production of Rest’s flagship Annual Report/Fund Information Report.
- Drive the production of Rest’s Annual Members’ Meeting Notice and related disclosures, working closely with the Financial Reporting team and senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Navigate a complex regulatory environment while championing best-practice communications practices.
- Work closely with Rest’s Regulatory and Technical Affairs and Risk and Legal teams to understand, apply and synthesize regulatory requirements into communications activities.
- Manage relationships with key external suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver business outcomes in line with timelines and budgets.
About You:
You have the dual expertise of exceptional stakeholder engagement and ability to create and deliver quality content. You understand collaboration is the key to the ultimate outcome, embracing every opportunity.
Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
- Highly advanced in communications, content creation for a super fund or in financial services
- Highly advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in end-to-end publication production
- Highly advanced interpersonal, communications, and rapport-building skills
- Awareness of media management, social media and content
- Experience in producing executive briefing packs and key messaging
- Collaborative mindset
- Ability to think strategically and creatively
- Possess strong planning, organising and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline driven environment and respond well to change
- Demonstrated ability to learn rapidly in new functional areas
- Prior experience working in super or another highly regulated environment would be advantageous
- A working style which aligns well to the Rest culture
- RG 146 compliant – or willingness to comply
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in communications or related discipline
