The Role
The purpose of the Fund Reporting Senior Manager is to ensure that timely and accurate financial control and external reporting requirements of Insignia Financial super funds are delivered to management and regulators within agreed timeframes and conform to best practice.
The role covers superannuation entities (“funds”) under Insignia Financial Limited RSEs including but not limited to IOOF Investment Management Limited, OnePath Custodians Pty Limited, Oasis Fund Management Limited, and NULIS Nominees Australia Limited.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial reporting obligation and regulatory delivery of entities
- Produce complete, accurate and on-time Audit Committee and Board reporting
- Develop and maintain team policies to ensure strong control processes and annual review
- Develop internal memos to facilitate communication between teams
- Proactive feedback and responsiveness on behalf of team to internal requests and project analysis
- Critical analysis of controls supporting the regulatory process including identification of gaps and recommendation of solutions
- Design, develop and execute internal controls to maintain and improve current service levels and financial data integrity
- Design and implement regulatory, business, and system change
- Mentor and embed high level of governance into team processes
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:
- Degree qualified or high level of industry operational experience
- CA/CPA qualification or equivalent
- Understanding of accounting and tax principles affecting the wealth industry
- Planning, time management and organisational skills
- Ability to support business strategy and objectives
- High level of experience in funds management and/or the financial services industry
