Join our Technology, Data, and Digital (TDD) division for an exciting opportunity as a Senior Project Manager - Licensing. In this pivotal role, you'll be an indispensable member of our Strategy & Portfolio Management Team, collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders, subject matter experts and third party vendors to oversee the implementation of significant initiatives within our Enterprise Systems & Publishing Operations.
We're seeking a seasoned Project Manager with exceptional stakeholder engagement abilities and a track record of successfully delivering large-scale platform upgrades and replacements.
What’s the role?
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and implement project plans, carefully balancing project size, complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value.
- Effectively manage relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, including finance, HR, and editorial counterparts across all levels.
- Track project milestones meticulously, while maintaining and reporting on a comprehensive integrated delivery plan.
- Ensure projects achieve success parameters and ROI targets outlined in the business case.
- Provide adept leadership and guidance to technical teams, comprising solution architects, developers, and testers.
- Identify and promptly escalate risks and issues to the appropriate channels, accompanied by proposed mitigation or treatment strategies.
Who are you?
- A self-motivated individual with previous experience excelling in the delivery of technology and digital projects within dynamic environments.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in intricate settings, adeptly managing scope, scheduling, and budget constraints.
- Skilled in facilitating procurement activities, encompassing vendor engagement, crafting RFI/RFP documents, negotiating contracts, and establishing vendor SLAs.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of technology fundamentals, project management principles, and proficient reporting practices.
- Effective communicator with robust verbal and written skills, leveraging tools to unearth and convey pivotal insights through meaningful and visually engaging reports.
- Cultivates strong, positive relationships across teams and with stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating expertise in managing senior-level stakeholders, including those in the C-Suite.
- Strong leadership capabilities evident in guiding technical teams, comprising business analysts, engineers, developers, and testers.
- While experience in rights management, content licensing, document archiving, or digitisation is preferred, it is not a prerequisite for consideration.
