Your new role
We have a new opportunity to join our Agency Partnerships team as a Senior Manager, Performance & Partnerships. You will drive the senior engagement and performance of our strategic Agency partners. In this role you will directly manage the delivery of effective and efficient customer service for our underwriting agency business, to achieve growth and an underwriting profit. Additionally, your role will review portfolio results, identify trends and develop recommendations that align to the overarching strategy.
You will also;
Support the development and implementation of strategies to underpin profitability and sustainable growth
Support the planning processes, including budgets and forecast
Conduct portfolio analysis to deliver actionable insights
Develop strong networks and relationships with key stakeholders
Strong understanding of current market conditions
Foster strong relationships within the insurance market, negotiate deals and represent the company with external parties
Review portfolio results and performance, identifying trends and opportunities
Develop recommendations and implement corrective action as necessary
Compliance with business and regulatory requirements
Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross functional team
Facilitate knowledge transfer
Role modelling QBE’s values and leadership capabilities
About you
To be successful as the Senior Manager, Performance & Partnerships you will have extensive industry experience, including Underwriting/Portfolio Manager responsibilities.
You will also have;
Solid leadership experience and engagement skills
Strong commercial acumen with experience in market facing senior stakeholder management
Advanced planning, organisational and project management skills
Working knowledge of P&L, portfolio and other financial metrics
Working knowledge of risk management processes, performance management and analysis of systems and process
Experience leading an underwriting team is highly desirable
