A fantastic opportunity at nbn, as a Senior Manager Retention, reporting to the Executive Manager Retention.
A bit about your role
The Senior Manager Retention is an integral part of the Customer Retention team within the broader Customer Acquisition, Retention and Insights team.
The role will develop and support Customer retention and base management initiatives/workstreams that are required to deliver nbn's retention objectives. nbn is facing competition from a range of infrastructure providers such as 5G Fixed Wireless Access, fibre networks and Low Earth Orbit Satellites. Amidst this competitive background, there is a significant focus on Customer retention and minimising disconnections from the nbn network. The role will work closely across the Customer team and nbn more broadly. Activities will include business case development & support, financial and scenario modelling, market research, implementation feasibility and/or risk identification and mitigation of those initiatives.
The role will also be responsible for ad-hoc analysis and insights of the telco competitive infrastructure market as well as supporting the Executive Manager and other retention initiatives in the preparation of annual forecasts and executive presentations.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will have 5+ years relevant experience in telco related functions such as business strategy, research and retention/base management. The ideal candidate will have experience in business strategy/commercial roles in telecommunications, strategic and commercial option assessment and developing retention focused commercial campaigns, programs and/or incentives. Candidates will be well versed in telecommunications related infrastructure competition and analysis. Proven ability to influence across peers and build alignment would be an advantage.
Candidates will have strong communication skills as well as strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
