THE ROLE
- Support and/or lead sales for Screens Business in APA region
- Onsite support and client-driven
- Ensure that Account managers have adequate training and support to sell their products
- Collects customer and competitor information as per Business Line/Product Group requirements
- Provide Country/Region/market area level Product Group level business forecast together with the sales team
- Support in Product Group level sales funnel generation, ensures quotation process data for specific case is at a right level
- Ensures value co-creation with customer is effective.
- Responsible for the value argumentation, value proposition and win plan of the cases and overall, for the technology
- Ensures timely progress of the sales case from lead to proposal and negotiations; Ensures profitability of the sales cases and the business segment
- Understands the market, competition and the industry best practices for the defined technology and ensures that the sales case is built accordingly
- Ensures compliance with sales process, proposal, and risk management procedures in the cases
- Supporting Warranty process, IB Validation, and inspection report reviews, recommendations, and solution definition.
- Escalates issues to product group/business line
- Implement & deploy product strategies
- Providing high technical expertise in troubleshooting, process knowledge, technical incidents, operation, and maintenance for screen Business
- Specializing to own technology areas to provide expertise support in site operations and technology related incidents and inquiries or problems - coordination & investigation of incidents)
- Participating in technical warranty claim or customer complaint handling.
- Supporting installation & commissioning team (when applicable)
- Function as a trainer for internal/external technical trainings, including certification program.
- Expertise support for problem management, technical sales support, Research & Development, and product development.
- Contribute to Technical Knowledge Management (service-related work instructions, resolution database, fault statistics, activity in technical community) in own technology area.
- Ensure systematic case handling through workflow/ticketing system according to agreed response and resolution times with adequate resolution information.
- Support IB Validation and maintenance of the CRM with equipment operational information
- Support CTO and ETO quotation development through solution definition
- Supports inspection report reviews, recommendations, and solution as requested
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering discipline or Business Management
- 5+ years proven ability in product management and customer service delivery
- Technical orientation and familiarity with metallurgy, mechanical equipment and process systems
- Experience in implementing strategies and business direction to grow business
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail skills
- Computer literacy, current driver's licence
- Qualification or experience in marketing or commercial management (Desirable)
- Understanding of the screen process within a materials processing circuit (Desirable)
- Participation in operational budget setting (Desirable)
- Cost analysis capability (Desirable)
