What you’ll be working on
FedEx Australia is looking for an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Vehicle Ground Support & Equipment team based in Mascot, NSW. This pivotal role involves managing a diverse team, overseeing the planning and engineering functions related to vehicles, properties, and capital infrastructure.
- Manage planning, maintenance, and optimization of our vehicle and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
- Oversee contract and vendor management, ensuring all partnerships align with FedEx standards and business objectives.
- Lead project management efforts across various initiatives, driving efficiency and effectiveness in our operations.
- Ensure compliance with all vehicle regulations and company policies, continuously improving our systems and technology.
- Play a major role in achieving the sustainability goals of the company by electrification of our fleet of vehicles and GSE.
This role is a senior management position with significant responsibilities within and potentially across countries. You will be instrumental in setting high-level goals, managing budgets, and leading continuous improvement efforts within your department.

What you’ll bring to the team
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, or a related field
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing managers and large teams.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and project management skills.
