Your new role
The Vendor Relationships team is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the Fund's third-party service providers which support member activities. In particular, the oversight and management of strategic relationships; the development, management of third-party governance within the Funds Third-party Management Framework; supporting ongoing management of contract & commercial arrangements; and facilitating the provision of fit for purpose third party service into the Member domain.
The role of Senior Relationship Manager primarily exists to:
- Manage the overall relationship with third party service providers with a focus on our insurance and administration partners.
- Work closely with service owners to ensure third parties are compliant with agreements and commercial arrangements and meeting the services they are contracted to provide.
- Drive success in the management and evolution of how the Fund manages and leverages its key strategic Member third parties to support services provided to Members, as well as to Member Operations and Member Services teams.
- Broad experience in managing complex vendors across the Superannuation and Insurance Industry, and the regulatory environment in which it operates
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or related discipline
- Extensive experience in managing high value and strategically important contracts
- Extensive relationship management, commercial management &/or service management experience in the Financial Services Industry
- Ability to liaise with a range of senior stakeholders and influence them to drive appropriate change
- Advanced oral and written communication, and presentation skills
- Use your knowledge to bring to the table relevant market /industry insights, and an understanding of legislative/regulatory obligations to help inform operating model design thinking
