Senior Manager, Workplace Relations
People and Culture

About the role
The Senior ManagerWorkplace Relations works under the general direction of the Director of People and Culture and provides strategic Workplace Relations advice in a high-performance culture through engagement across the University. This includes establishing and maintaining Faculty and Directorate relations, managing Workplace Relations projects, conducting high-level negotiations, oversight of complex workplace investigations, providing advice on workplace diversity initiatives, dealing with significant industrial relations matters and advising on and managing the University's enterprise agreement processes and committees.
About you
You will have extensive experience in industrial relations and the management of Workplace Relations. You will have superior interpersonal, communication, negotiation and liaison skills with the ability to build productive relationships with key stakeholders, including all levels of staff and industrial organisations.

The People and Culture Directorate is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that focus on enabling our people to create an engaging and high-performance work culture that delivers an outstanding higher education experience to our students.
The Directorate is focused on working in partnership with Faculties and Directorates to deliver strategies, quality services and projects through several primary human resource functions.
