Our opportunity
To support our growth, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing and Communications Coordinator who is enthusiastic about the work we do to join our team.
In this role your responsibilities will include assisting in delivering Ingham Institute’s marketing, branding, communications (including social media, website, and public relations activities), contractor coordination, and associated activities to assist in driving awareness, engagement, and growth for Ingham Institute.
This role also assists with events and campaigns (including online) focussed on both audience engagement and fundraising/digital fundraising, to maximise supporter and income growth from existing and new channels, and to expand awareness of Ingham Institute.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be an enthusiastic, proactive, and organised individual who has:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, skills and/or demonstrated experience (ideally in marketing, communications, public relations, or related discipline).
- Proven experience in digital Marketing and Communications, digital platforms, and particularly in social media and website coordination/management.
- Proven experience in copywriting, with the ability to tailor messages to reach the targeted audiences and achieve outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in contractor coordination and management.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite, WordPress, Adobe suite online automation tools i.e., Canva, and CRM management.
- Demonstrated ability to build productive, positive working relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders.
- Passionate about delivering the highest quality of service to stakeholders (internal and external) and representing Ingham Institute to the best of your ability.
- Have a detail-oriented approach ensuring accuracy work performed.
- High standard of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of audiences, tailoring communication to suit the relevant audience.
- High level of reliance and tenacity.
- Positive, “can do” attitude.
- Personal alignment with Ingham Institute organisational values of Imagination, Inclusion, Impact, and Integrity.
- Ability to work before and after hours (including weekends and evenings) as requested.
- Graphic design experience (desirable).
