Sharp & Carter are proud to partner with this leading Sports, Hospitality and Entertainment Group in their search for a talented and experienced Senior Marketing Specialist to join their well-established and fast-paced Marketing team. The Senior Marketing Specialist has a fundamental role to play in the ongoing marketing and promotion of their 4 key venues. Playing a pivotal role in maximising the customer experience across all brands and venues, this role will be responsible for developing and executing end to end marketing campaigns to hit key commercial targets.

Role Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy

• Analyse market trends, positioning of competitors, customer behaviour and experiences to drive the strategy.
• Identify Marketing opportunities including new channels and propositions to attract target audience.
• Monitor Key competitors regularly to ensure our promotions and offerings are always best in market.
• Plan and execute successful, broad and targeted campaigns to drive growth.

Marketing Planning

• Creation of marketing calendar for all key events and promotions in line with overall marketing strategy
• Budget Management for promotions and events across designated venues

End to End Campaign Execution Management

• Develop industry leading marketing campaigns (for designated venues) to drive member engagement and deliver business results.
• Execution and delivery of key events and promotions (for designated venues) including major promotions, special events and Activations
• Detailed analysis and reporting on Marketing Campaigns and performance including monthly performance tracking and ad-hoc deep dives.

Stakeholder Management and Relationships

• Build effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders including Operations, Gaming, F&B and Loyalty. Particularly important to build a strong rapport with the General Manager of the venues that this role will be managing.
• Works effectively within a team environment, cooperates with others, considers the needs of others and helps others within the team to achieve their objectives.
• Management of External Agencies including Creative and Media Agencies.

Leadership

• Works with the General Manager of Marketing to provide a Marketing culture where employees can achieve their full potential and where a spirit of collaboration and cooperation are central to the operation of the organisation
• Inspire and lead one (1) Marketing Specialist to ensure effective and efficient delivery of all Marketing campaigns.

Skills and Experience:

• 4+ Years Marketing Experience in a commercially driven organisation (Hospitality experience preferred but not required)
• Team Management and Leadership experience
• Proven experience and success across all disciplines of marketing (product, branding, strategy, social media, communications, business development).
• Excellent Project Management Skills
• Exceptional Stakeholder Management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
• A hands-on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
