The role
We are looking for a Senior Medical Admin Officer who excels in handling a variety of tasks to join our expanding Women’s Health Clinic. As a modern and dynamic Women's Health practice, we cater to a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of gynecological, reproductive, and general health issues.

You will be responsible for managing clinics, establishing and maintaining patient files, typing patient correspondence, handling patient bookings, and ensuring the accuracy of all billing and accounts.
Key Selection Criteria
- Proficient in greeting, offering information, and providing guidance to current and prospective patients through telephone and email.
- Ability to assist with developing, reviewing and enhancing administration systems, policies and procedures.
- Ability to support the clinical team leader to provide mentorship and guidance to a small admin team, fostering professional growth and development.
- Efficient management of doctors' and clinicians' diaries.
- Skillful maintenance of patient records with a commitment to confidentiality.
- Competent in processing Medicare rebates and Hi Caps transactions.
Non - negotiables
- Detail oriented and a 'go-getter'.
- Over 5 years of experience in medical administration within a private healthcare environment.
- Ability to work independently but also collaboratively in a team environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Genie or other Practice Management Software, including the ability to prepare monthly financial reports from the software.
- Experience in providing exceptional customer service in a medical setting.
- Legally able to work in Australia.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a medical practice is advantageous.
- Experience in generation monthly financial reports from existing practice software.
