As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the support they need from the moment they walk through our doors.
About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced health administration professional to lead one of our Yarra Glen medical practices.
You are expected to help guide a team of receptionists and work with the nurses and GPs in the effective delivery of outstanding customer service; manage the end-to-end patient experience whilst coordinating the day-to-day clinic operations; create your mark whilst participating in company-wide trainings designed to help build on your knowledge and improve the clinic group experiences.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a medical clinic setting
- Proficient with computerised systems including medical specific software and Best Practice is an advantage
- Have experience managing or leading at least one other individual (could be training / mentoring)
- Knowledge of Medicare Benefits Schedule is mandatory
- Able to multi-task with high attention to detail
- Positive, with a strong work ethic
- Exceptional communication skills and highly developed people skills
