Dr Lip Teh is an established and busy plastic and reconstructive surgeon in private practice based in West Perth with a subspecialty interest in breast aesthetics and reconstructive surgery, and body contouring surgery.
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and confident Medical Secretary who also has a passion for patient care to take them through their pre and post operative journey to start in May 2024.

Responsibilities will include:
- Medical administrative duties
- Patient billing, account reconciliation and payment collection;
- Handling prospective patient inquiries by phone, email, online chat and via social media channels
- Patient relationship management during the entire patient journey
- Scheduling and managing patient consult appointments and hospital bookings
- Providing patients with surgical quotes
- Resolving any patient surgical concerns with help of nurses and surgeon
- Coordinating of rosters for nurse and receptionist
- Scheduling and diary management
- Following up and networking with past patients.
Our ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- At least 2 years experience as a Medical Secretary within a surgical specialty (preferably within Plastic Surgery);
- Proficiency in using Genie Solutions practice software (essential);
- Processing EFTPOS and Eclipse payments and claiming for Health Fund and Medicare rebates.;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and teleconferencing software (Ie Zoom and Teams);
- A genuine interest in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery;
- Excellent medical typing and literacy skills;
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and resourcefulness;
- A friendly warm and approachable personality and able to provide a high level of customer service with a professional phone manner and personal presentation;
- Maintain a high level of patient and practice confidentiality at all times;
- Sound computer skills and ability to communicate in social media
- Ability to multi-task and time manage whilst ensuring attention to detail;
- Ability to work autonomously and also as part of a team;
