AddressWe are looking for an experienced Senior Planner for the Apparel division of S.Kidman & Co. Pty Ltd, established in 1899. We recently became the custodian of Driza-Bone and Rossi Boots brands. Together, these brands have a legacy of 240 years in the apparel industry. We aim to expand the product offering and grow recognition for the authentic heritage and pioneering spirit around the world.
As the Senior Planner, you will develop planning tools and execute comprehensive merchandising plans, optimise inventory management and sales initiatives for aa growing range of products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for the retail apparel industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with product developers to enhance forecasting, sourcing and purchase decisions.
- Providing strategic recommendations for product lifecycle, merchandising and inventory management
- Managing Open to Buy, sales, stock, and intake activities
- Historical analysis to optimise inventory allocation, assortment and replenishment strategies across stores and distribution channels.
- Conduct regular analysis of sales performance, inventory turnover, and market trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Apparel 21 skills
- Ability to build a merchandising, OTB and demand forecasting in Excel.
- Highly analytical with strong commercial acumen
- Sound technical garment knowledge
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
