Job Description
Egis in ANZ is seeking a dedicated Urban Planner/Senior Urban Planner to join our esteemed Melbourne Team on a contract basis for 3-6 months, with the possibility of permanency.
As an Urban Planner/Senior Urban Planner, you will immediately play a vital role in contributing to the development and enhancement of urban spaces, undertaking Strategic and Statutory Planning tasks/project work in order to meet Client requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Utilising advanced knowledge of urban planning principles to develop innovative solutions for urban development projects.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and integrate them into planning processes.
- Preparing comprehensive documentation, reports, and proposals to support urban planning initiatives.
- Assisting in project planning and management, ensuring effective resource allocation and timely delivery of projects.
- Analyzing data and trends to inform decision-making processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Mentorship of Junior Planners (Senior Urban Planner) and contributing to their professional development.
- Fostering positive relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Contributing to the overall growth and profitability of our urban planning discipline through continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification/s in Planning or Environmental Studies
- 4-8 years of relevant (and demonstrated) industry experience (Strategic/Statutory)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate information of a complex nature
- Excellent time management skills
