What you'll do:You will build strong relationships with business leaders and assist the Mobility Manager in identifying and deploying continuous improvement initiatives. You will also assist with leading the team in the day-to-day operational delivery of domestic and international relocations and assignments (inbound and outbound) and in the absence of the Mobility Manager.
Key responsibilities:- Advise on and oversee the coordination of all mobility related services across the Group with a particular focus on New Zealand and Australia
- Strategic advice and partnering to the business in relation to expatriate, international and domestic relocation solutions and other global workforce issues;
- Content and structure of relocation conditions, mobility policies and assignment contracts;
- Deliver the day-to-day operational requirements for all domestic and international secondments (inbound and outbound), transfers and mobility related hires typically across Australia and New Zealand
- Understand country differences and requirements from a mobility perspective in particular relating to immigration, tax and employment practises;
- Identify and deploy continuous development and improvement initiatives including streamlining of policies, systems and processes (including preparation and delivery of coaching/training
What you'll bring:You will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar global mobility role in a large global organisation. Central to your success will be your background in applying a team experience focus to strategy and operation.
- Sound knowledge of the assignment lifecycle and the inherent issues is essential;
- Experience of mobility concepts in both New Zealand and Australia highly desirable
- Proven ability to research and gain knowledge quickly (including local laws and customs of relevant countries);
- Proven ability in the preparation and delivery of coaching/ training;
- Proven ability in identifying and deploying improvement initiatives;
- Proven ability to work independently whilst fostering a collaborative team environment
