The Senior NDIS Coordinator Role
The National Disability Insurance Scheme is a national scheme for people with permanent and significant disability. It provides funding to individuals to access reasonable and necessary supports and services they need to live and enjoy life. Participants are encouraged to actively participate in identifying and setting goals, and to determine what level of involvement they want in managing their own service arrangements. Country Health Connect is a registered NDIS provider and provides Core Supports and Capacity Building Supports which includes lower level assistive technology prescription.
As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, the Senior NDIS Coordinator assists in leading the operational management of the NDIS program, with support from the Regional Program Manager, Disability and Brokered Services. The Senior Coordinator will utilise program experience and competence to support coordinator staff within the team, manage complex client matters and work with a portfolio of participants in supporting the implementation of NDIS services within RMCLHN. The incumbent will support business reporting requirements and inform decision making at the operational level.
The Riverland Community Health Service provides quality, community-based health services across the Riverland of South Australia. The Riverland Community Health Service provides a variety of medical care, including but not limited to, Aboriginal health, cardiac rehabilitation, diabetic education and women's health.
This is a part time vacancy, working 45 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
