The team 

The Information Technology team forms part of the Transformation Office, Digital, Data & Technology which is accountable for driving ASIC's transformation agenda, including the use of digital and data products as well as providing the technology platforms.

Digital Workplace Services (DWS) is part of the larger IT services team. We have embarked on a major digital transformation journey which will make ASIC a 'best in class' regulator supporting the Australian financial markets.  We are undertaking major technology projects that will transform our business and continue our significant technology transformation in a number of areas such as modern digital workplace, mobility, security and cloud, with an increased focus on data sharing, analytics and automation.

The role

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will actively participate in the plan, design, build and run functions for ASIC's Enterprise Network services and work collaboratively with our stakeholders to deliver outcomes.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to defining a fit for purpose strategy for Digital Workplace Services - Enterprise Network platforms and solutions and implementing that strategy, contributing to greater adoption of Enterprise Network products by all ASIC staff.

About you:

We are looking for someone with strong people & technology leadership skills and a minimum 3 to 5 years' experience designing, building and running Network Services, especially "Wifi First" deployments, in the following areas:

• Cisco Wireless (AP, WLC, ISE, DNAC) 
• Cisco switching and routing 
• F5 Big IP platform (GTM, LTM, ASM, APM) 
• AWS/Azure cloud networking 
• Python, Bash, JSON/YAML 

You will be inquisitive, curious and possess the ability to learn new technology quickly and effectively.
