The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable network solutions across multiple locations. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal network performance, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement highly available network solutions across multiple locations
- Develop and implement network protocols, policies, and procedures
- Monitor and maintain network performance, security, and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues
- Oversee the implementation of network solutions to ensure successful implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal network performance and security
- Develop documentation, including network diagrams, technical specifications, and operating procedures
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Network Engineering and administration
- Experience in designing and implementing highly available, scalable network solutions
- Proven experience in network troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Strong understanding of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS
- Experience with Cisco and Juniper networking technologies; certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIS, JNCIP are highly desirable.
- Experience in network security and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
