Length:- Permanent Role PurposeWe are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, Consulting Network and Security engineer with extensive knowledge and experience in Networking and Cyber Security. The goal of the successful candidate is to provide excellence in technical support, project implementations, designs/architecture, and client engagement. The role will suit a seasoned network/Security Engineer with exceptional client facing skills. The systems knowledge complimenting network/security skills are very welcome!
Main responsibilitiesWe welcome people who can drive the outcomes, enjoy working unsupervised, can think outside the box and are easy to engage for the customers. Some of the key themes you would initially be responsible for:
- Be a go-to lead for SDWAN and Network Security, specifically around Fortinet technologies
- Experience with Cisco enterprise suite, including ISE, WLC, WSA, ASA, Routers, IOS and NXOS Switches
- Experience with other network and security vendors, i.e. Palo Alto and Juniper Cloud experience, preferably with Azure and AWS
- Be the technical lead for our enterprise customers with complex networks and extensive Network Security architectures.
- Ability to drive complex project work and troubleshooting activities.
- Client security and network posture
- Research and propose new technologies
- Assign and resolve support requests
- Build excellent relationships with customers
- Strong network routing and switching, and wireless knowledge
- Fortinet certifications are a must
- Experience and in-depth understanding of firewalls, network proxies, SSL
- inspection, 802.1X and other related Network Security technologies
- SDWAN experience and knowledge is a bonus
- Cyber security skills and certifications are a bonus
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to be motivated and work well independently
