We are looking for highly motivated and passionate Occupational Therapists to join our team, to support
adults with neurological conditions to live as safely and independently at home.
CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE
You have the opportunity select 1, 2, or 3 from the following areas and we will support you with a
focussed learning and development plan:
1. Assistive technology (i.e. wheelchairs, pressure care, manual handling),
2. Home modifications (minor and complex home modifications), OR
3. Electronic Assistive Technology (i.e. switch access, home automation, technology access)
4. Clinical Education (i.e. developing and presenting online training, providing clinical supervision)
No need to flounder by getting referrals for every type of client, when you can focus and develop your
skills, one area at a time.
Your Responsibilities
Deliver high level community occupational therapy services for adults in the community. This may
include clients with amputations, spinal cord injury, dementia, progressive neurological conditions, and palliative care
Demonstrate experience and skill in home modifications, assistive technology, and/ or electronic
assistive technology
Clinical educator role- research, develop and present online training, and provide clinical supervision in
your area of expertise to clinicians across Australia
Be a team player, and also be able to work independently
Have demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills
About You
Ideally, your background will include:
Occupational Therapist qualifications with current AHPRA Registration
Demonstrated experience in home visiting and community OT experience
Clinical experience in one or more of the following clinical areas: minor or complex home
modifications, assistive technology, electronic assistive technology, education
Excellent time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in report writing
All applicants must have full working rights in Australia, a valid Driver’s License, vehicle for home visits,
NDIS worker Screening check, and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
