Job description

Are you after a job that gives you the flexibility to work with clients and develop other clinicians' skills?

Are you after a job that gives you the ability to develop programs and interesting spaces, that not only uses your unique skills and interests but also drives your passion for what you do?

Are you feeling overwhelmed by unrealistic KPIs and the constant need to prove your worth?

Kids at Play Therapy Services is your answer.

We are searching for a team member who want to sparkle within their skill set, help lead our Occupational Therapy Team and work towards our goal of building unique and engaging programs for our clients.

A little bit about us...

We are a fun-loving, passionate and diverse team within an established clinic in the historic 88 Limestone Precinct in Ipswich CBD, QLD. We pride ourselves on supporting staff to be the best clinicians that they can be.

We do this by providing:
External supervision with a supervisor of your choice paid for by the clinic and accounted for in your regular work hours
Internal supervision with Clinic Director and access to them whenever you require them (we are on-site working with you each day)
Generous professional development leave and budget for the use of external PD
Over 70 hours of professional development opportunities within the clinic via Journal Clubs, PD evening, supervision and fortnightly professional development with internal and external presenters
Provide opportunities for career growth and developing your passions within your job, whether you are a new graduate or an experienced clinician.
Low billable hours
Full administration support including booking, appointments, liaising with clients, filing and even resource preparation.

We are a family business, and our team is part of our family, and we look forward to seeing your application.

Here's what the right person will love about this position:
Salary starts from $118,000 to $126,000 plus super, with additional benefits of paid external supervision, professional membership fees paid, professional development allowances and professional development leave entitlements and all the resources and assessments you will need to do your job.
Ability to share your skills and knowledge by supporting early career clinicians with mentoring and supervision.
Have an active voice in assisting with the operations of the business, and developing innovative programs, projects and resources to support clients, clinicians and the wider community.
Opportunities to grow within the business, develop your professional skills and qualifications supported by us and continue to develop your skills as a clinician, supervisor or researcher.
Practice our focus on the client journey, and how we can best support clients and their families to achieve their goals.
Work alongside other health professionals in our supportive multidisciplinary team.
Family-friendly workplace - with paid parental leave and flexible working options for all staff.
All clinicians have supported the induction program, with a gradually increased caseload.
Well-being program including 24/7 EAP Program for you and your family to access at any time.
Opportunities to focus your skills and develop personal and professional interests and develop your clinical caseload to reflect these interests.
Work alongside our therapy dog for canine-assisted therapy in sessions and an understanding of assisted therapy for intervention.
Friendly and well-organised administration support is provided to clinicians, including bookings, confirmation of appointments and billing.
