We are seeking a motivated a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Neuro Rehabilitation Team to deliver high quality therapy services.
About the role:

Your caseload will consist of a wide range of neurological customers with varying complexities. A varied case list of diagnoses provides great opportunity to continually develop your skills and knowledge.
The Neuro Rehab Advanced Clinician (Senior) Occupational Therapist role provides clinical leadership and supervision to therapists to develop their fundamental skills within the Neuro Rehab space, knowledge and competencies. This is a customer facing role with adjusted minimum billable targets to enable consultation and supervision. Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational therapy with experience within a similar role and/or sector (Disabilities) is desirable
To be successful for this position you will demonstrate:
- Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) or approved equivalent
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience working in the disability sector, particularly working with youths and adults
- Minimum of five years’ experience with at least three years’ experience in a Neuro Rehabilitation role
- Experience in supervising peers
- Understanding of person/family centred planning principles
- Well-developed oral, written and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Disability Services Standards and Occupational Safety and Health legislation
We also highly value experience in the following areas:
- Community-based complex AT equipment prescription
- Upper limb rehab experience
- Experience in delivering training within interdisciplinary team
- Experience in cognitive retraining
- Experience or interest in developing projects
- Working within an interdisciplinary team
