We are seeking experienced (5+ years) Senior Occupational Therapist to join us as Community of Practice Lead
The Role
We are seeking Occupational Therapists with paediatric and/or adult clinical skills, experience with Functional Competency Assessments (FCA) and NDIS experience, to join our team and provide online therapy to clients across Australia.
The Occupational Therapy caseload is varied and includes clients who are neurodiverse (autism, ADHD) and/or have developmental delay, intellectual disability, neurological and motor disabilities. Our clients are of all ages, but are predominantly paediatric (0-18 years).
At Therapy Connect, we match our therapists to the individual needs and goals of our clients, to ensure we get better outcomes for our clients and allow therapists to tailor their caseloads to meet their skillsets.
You will be part of a group of multidisciplinary practitioners including Occupational Therapists, speech pathologist, dietitians, physiotherapist and psychologists. You will have access to supervision, continued professional development, internal learning opportunities and collegial support all from your own home!
About You
Essential skills, attributes & requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration
- A team player who is willing to connect and collaborate online with a multidisciplinary team all over Australia.
- Experience and excellence in clinical skills across a range of areas, and working within the NDIS
- Experience delivering therapy programs to clients / participants, their families and carers, ensuring you are building capacity
- Willingness to adapt your therapeutic approach into an online delivery format.
- Creativity and problem solving skills.
- Confident with using technology.
- Quiet and professional office space and access to reliable internet connection.
- Eligible for or have a NDIS Worker Screening check and Working with Children Check (or equivalent) for the state or territory in which you usually reside.
