About the role
This role will be responsible for delivering the company’s expectations surrounding but not limited to, client, clinician support and coordination, service engagement, and delivery.
The ideal candidate must have a harmonious approach ensuring client, clinicians, and Gen Physio’s needs are met, through industry best practice.
Duties
- Promote and market Gen Physio’s services and activities
- Supervising a team of Occupational Therapists, completing Gap analysis on skills and developmental needs
- Managing your own case load and leading by example through best practice within the community
- Be able to develop and train team members on specific billing practices, especially within the NDIS framework
- Providing clinical and professional leadership to a team of Occupational; Therapists at diverse levels of their clinical journey
- Inspire and promote continuous improvement from your clinical team through innovative thinking and service excellence
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Understanding of and proven NDIS and HCP billing practices
- Leadership experience including NDIS practice standards and aged care quality and safety standards
- Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills, being able to produce quality reports, funding applications and intervention planning
- Genuine commitment to continuous improvement and developing a team that has honesty and integrity at its heart
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current valid driver’s license
- Flexible working arrangements, 2.30pm finish Friday, and no weekend work
