Primary Purpose of Role
The Senior Officer – Competition Systems and Technology Support role/s is primarily a technology-based project management function, that will support the CEO and other members of FQ’s Executive Leadership team and ensure the effective and ongoing efficient delivery of FQ’s integrated competition management platform and technology systems.
Responsibilities
The Senior Officer – Competition Systems and Technology Support will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Be responsible for the club relationship strategies and engagement that delivers and ensures the football economy is fully transitioned to Squadi and gains maximum value from the platform
- Engage with Affiliated Clubs and Organisations on the benefits of using Squadi and transition them from their operations from previous / existing platforms currently in use
- Work with the GM – Corporate and Football Services to identify new opportunities to further expand the commercialisation of the platform
- Collaborate with the FQ team to ensure the ongoing implementation and administration of Football Queensland's integrated competition management platforms
- Collaborate with the FQ team to support the relationship with the vendor which includes their development teams and staff who are on-site at FQ
- Be the central resource for FQ Business Units regarding any bugs or issues, and resolve with the vendor
- Assist in system support tickets and resolve promptly with users
- Support the conduit between all FQ Business Units and the Vendor
- Monitor and ensure the platform interface/API’s with third party systems are working effectively
- Engage with all affected FQ Business Units to undertake ongoing business process reviews, (As Is / To Be) and ensure all critical functionality is continually available through the platform or ticketed for development.
- In conjunction with the relevant FQ Business units, test all ongoing and newly developed functionality
- Provide the engagement and deliver education and training plans for all clubs as required
- Throughout all stages of the project where required, involve clubs in any User Acceptance Testing.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills.
To be the right fit for this role, you will:
- Dedicated and mature approach to providing exceptional customer service
- Able to initiate new relationships, build rapport quickly and have the knowledge of dealing with professional administrators and importantly, volunteers
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, including phone, electronic and face to face engagement
- Be proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under direction to start processes, set priorities and manage key tasks and time, but as important is the ability to take initiative and make decisions using critical thinking and awareness
- Enthusiasm and a high-level of self motivation, both independently and as part of a team
- Self-awareness and ability to comprehend what is required and how to achieve outcomes
- Previous experience in administration role
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willing to
- Current Driver's License and reliable transportation
