Job description

This role will manage and offer support and direction to Service Coordinators across all OOSH programs in relation to the education and care of children.

The Role
Full time role to provide leadership and direction to the OOSH Service Coordinators, including employee development, motivation and engagement, supporting and guiding your team of coordinators to support the educators, service and community.
As well as represent AlburyCity Children's Services in relationships with schools which host OOSH programs.

Qualifications & experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care or related field or relevant equivalent experience
  • Experience within an Out of School Hours program
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector.
Tasks & responsibilities
  • Assist with the recruitment of OOSH staff and provide support with the orientation process.
  • Assist the service coordinators with the casual roster of OOSH staff across the programs to ensure ratios are maintained.
  • Support Educational Leaders in each OOSH program to ensure the approved Educational Framework is implemented.
  • Coordinate and facilitate professional development opportunities for OOSH staff across programs.
  • Observe requirements of the WHS Legislation, relevant to the job and adhere to AlburyCity Policies and Procedures regarding WHS.

Hours
Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 6pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
