To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Senior Operations Engineer to join our team.

The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide support and oversight of the operation and maintenance of water treatment assets, storage infrastructure and water projects whilst providing continuous improvement, ensuring they are operating and maintained in accordance with design parameters.

This is a Brisbane based position requiring occasional travel to our field operations as required.

In addition you will:

• Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
• Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
• Ensure water asset compliance and integrity by identifying process and/or operational issues and mitigating them sufficiently to reduce the risk of process integrity events i.e. loss of primary containment (LOPC).
• Provide specialist advice relating to treatment technology and specifications, water storage, water quality and chemical analysis to inform the decision-making process for operations and projects.
• Active and key participant in Operating Integrity and support the Operations team with process safety incident investigations and investigation outcomes. Ensure learnings are captured and communicated within the team. 
• Act as focal point for site to support and coach the Operations team and Case Owners with the Theats and Opportunity Management (TOMs) system and Management of Change process (MoC).

About You
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity. 

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have: 

• Engineering degree in a relevant discipline
• 5 years Oil and/or Gas industry experience in a similar or related position, preferably in unconventional coal seam gas (CSG) environment. 
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in water management matters related to the petroleum, mining, engineering or related industry
