Role & Responsibility
Reporting to the NSW Finance Manager, you will partner with the State and Site Leadership team at our Distribution Centres, to generate analysis, insights, and provide recommendations to understand and improve the overall operation. You will also deliver timely and accurate reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial education and guidance.
- Assisting NSW Operations management teams, OpsX team, and Finance Manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting, including Month End, Forecast, BPM, Labour Plan, and EAs, as well as ad-hoc requests and analysis.
- Analysing, monitoring, and consolidating the financial performance of sites within NSW, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Supporting and communicating updates on various Distribution Centre’s operational results and developing operational plans.
- Enhancing productivity by providing clear cost-to-serve analysis, influencing decision-making, and monitoring benefit delivery.
- Providing guidance, coaching, and insights to State Leadership and Operations teams for financial performance management; standardizing financial performance reporting, ensuring timely communication and escalation when needed.
Profile
To be successful in this role, the following experience is desirable:
- 5+ years’ experience in a financial or commercial analyst role with a solid understanding of Supply Chain operations, distribution, or manufacturing.
- Finance business-related degree and/or working towards CPA/CA qualification.
- Demonstrated achievements in analytical and conceptual finance with experience in financial, variance, and forecasting analysis.
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Financial modelling skills & experience in data visualisation tools and financial systems in a commercial environment.
- Commercial analysis and insights - the ability to analyse Supply Chain operations and make the complex simple financially and operationally.
- Able to demonstrate initiative, drive and be proactive, with a willingness to step in and take new things on with an agile mindset.
