Jacobs' Operations, Management & Facility Services (OMFS) team is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Specialist to join our growing practice in Brisbane. In this role, you will support the delivery of operations and maintenance (O&M), facilities management, and asset management services for our water, wastewater and energy transition clients across Australia.

This position interfaces directly with key clients to develop and deliver OMFS services. While headquartered in Brisbane, this role will involve travel to client sites across Queensland and throughout Australia as we support critical infrastructure projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to client operations and maintenance teams, coordinating with third-party providers as required.
  • Develop and implement O&M documentation, commissioning inspection test plans (ITPs), checklists, and handover documentation.
  • Implement asset management/O&M applications, databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and optimisation strategies.
  • Interpret and manage O&M and asset management data, analyse results, and provide ongoing reports.
  • Analyse operational and maintenance procedures, recommending improvements where needed.
  • Prepare O&M manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintenance job plans, and task procedures.
  • Develop and deliver operator training programs.
  • Manage Jacobs' Echo field mobility solution and workflow delivery.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Strong analytical background with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level
  • Proficiency in O&M data management, spatial databases, and multi-criteria data analysis
  • Knowledge of O&M data conversion, projection, and transformation
  • Operational, maintenance, process, and commissioning experience, with documentation delivery
  • Working experience with CMMS/Enterprise Asset Management Systems and implementation practices
  • Expertise in O&M data editing, digitising, acquisition, and procurement
