About Ladybug House

Ladybug House is a clinician led paediatric allied healthcare practice.

With existing practices in Keilor East (Melbourne) and Mudgeeraba (Gold Coast), we are excited to be expanding to a new Brighton location in June 2024.

Co-located in an existing paediatric clinic, Ladybug House Brighton is a truly multidisciplinary clinical setting, with opportunities to work together with other paediatric specialists, including paediatricians, psychologists, dieticians, and OTs.

About the role

We are looking for a passionate part-timeSenior Speech Pathologist to join our growing team of therapists. Your role will include:

  • Supporting children between the age 0 to 9, with a diverse range of clinical presentations
  • Building positive ongoing relationships with both children and their caregivers
  • Liaising with our multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to care
  • Completing assessments and standard reports
  • A combination of in-clinic and outreach visits to childcare and school settings
  • Providing leadership and support to our early career therapists

Working with us

  • Super-supportive team environment: We are family-owned and clinician-led, with a flat structure and a truly hands-on leadership team. Our senior leadership team is made up entirely of clinicians and team leaders.
  • Salary: We offer competitive above-Award rate base salaries and bonus payments every 6 months, along with equity ownership opportunities for our senior leaders.
  • Professional Development: $2,000 professional development budget and 3 days paid professional development leave.
  • Career Progression: Our clinics have been helping families for 10 years and we’re very proud of the fact that some of our clinicians have been with us for over 8 years. In fact, our Clinical Director joined us as a Graduate! Your career journey is as important to us as it is to you. We’ll work together to develop a career path that continues to support and motivate you.
  • Full administrative support: Our amazing Client Care Team takes care of all appointment setting, cancellations and administration, so you can focus your attention on our children and their families.
  • Manageable caseload: All clinicians maintain a baseline caseload of 5 clients/day, with adjustments made for supervisory responsibilities. Full on-site clinic appointments or a hybrid mix of clinic and school or community outreach - The choice is yours!
  • Supervision: All team members receive 1:1 supervision on a weekly or fortnightly basis, depending on needs and caseload complexity.
  • Resources: Our new clinic will have extensive, brand-new assessment & therapy resources to help support your practice. You get to choose what we buy!
  • Employee Assistance Program: Your wellbeing is as important to us as the families we support. That’s why we offer a fully-funded, on-demand external EAP.
  • Team events: With 2 major events each year, monthly fun/wellbeing activities, and an Employee of the Month Award, we love taking time to celebrate our wonderful Ladybug House team.
  • Our New Location: Situated in a bustling Bayside shopping strip, in close proximity to the train station, a vibrant cafe scene, and the beach!

About you

You have a desire to work within a multidisciplinary paediatric healthcare setting and enjoy being part of a team environment. You are empathetic, show initiative and have a strong focus on providing solutions for your patients.
