Our objective is to produce effective and targeted solutions for our clients, rejecting a one-size fits all approach to legal problem solving. Our main areas of practice are loan origination, insolvency, debt recovery and mortgages. We are active across Australia and litigate in multiple jurisdictions.
About the Role:
If you are an experienced Paralegal, looking for a new challenge, we want you! This role is perfect for someone with at least 4 years' experience as a Paralegal, ideally having worked in areas such as litigation and property or similar, across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice/office administration and management;
- File administration tasks including setting up new matters;
- Draft documents and managing PEXA transactions;
- Liaise with clients, counterparties and self-represented litigants;
- Draft correspondence, documents and agreements;
- Attend to court filings in all Australian jurisdictions;
- Track matters, create reports and provide updates to the Principal and client;
- Diary management and ensuring time sensitive tasks are attended to;
- Other general duties as required.
- You have 3-5 years of experience as a Paralegal;
- You are highly organised, with impeccable attention to detail and have excellent communication skills
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- You have experience in generating responsive and time reports;
- You are comfortable with high-volume work;
- You can quickly build rapport with people from all walks of life;
- You are tech savvy and innovative;
- You see a challenge as an opportunity and are solutions-oriented;
- You’re a team player and highly adaptable;
- Familiarity with with practice management systems such as LEAP and Actionstep as well as PEXA, is preferable.
- Intermediate/advanced Microsoft 365 skills, including all Office 365 apps.
