Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Legal Assistant/Paralegal to provide support to a busy legal team that primarily works on motor vehicle, workcover and institutional abuse files.
You will be responsible for:
- Evidence gathering
- Drafting a variety of documentation including Notice of Claim forms, Statutory Declarations, Employer Statements, Supporting Statements, letters and other correspondence
- Responding to Requests
- Reviewing and summarising various records
- Dealing with non-compliance issues and liability responses
- Organising Conferences and Mediations together with preparing the necessary documentation
- Liasing with clients and other parties
To be successful in this role, you must have solid legal secretarial or paralegal experience, or be completing a legal qualification. With a very strong eye for detail and accuracy with systems, you will confidently support a Lawyer with their matters. You will have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a desire to do whatever it takes to help the team be successful. You must be passionate about helping clients and pride yourself on delivering high quality work every time.
