About the role
We are seeking a Senior Paralegal or Law Graduate to support our dynamic, friendly and inclusive professional team in our Sydney office. The role will include:
- Preparing legal documents, statutory notices, and court documents and correspondence
- File management and client communication
- Undertaking legal research
- Assist solicitors with the day-to-day operations of files/client management
- General administration including billing
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must the following core values and skills:
- Experience in a paralegal role or graduate at law
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent spelling and grammar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to handle large volumes of work
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands
- Enjoy being part of a team committed to, and delivering, client excellence
Skills and experience
OBL shall provide on-the-job training in respect of our systems and documents. Previous experience in a legal setting is favourable though not essential. The position would be ideal for a Law Graduate who wants to also obtain exposure to, and experience in, the private legal sector (full time position). However, our over-riding focus is to secure a candidate that has the above core values and skills.
