About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Parks & Recreation Officer to join our dynamic Open Spaces team. In this position, you will prepare and manage contracts including agreements for Council’s sporting and aquatic facilities in accordance with policies, procedures, strategies, plans and legislative requirements. The Senior Parks & Recreation Officer will assist with the implementation of the capital works program to deliver projects in Council’s open spaces. Advanced finance and project management skills are required to ensure that these projects are delivered on time and within the allocated budget. This position will also liaise regularly with our local sporting groups to strengthen participation in sport and recreation including the utilisation of Council’s parks, sports grounds, sports and aquatic facilities. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a passion for recreation, an eye for detail and a positive work ethic.

This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
