Talenza are seeking a Senior Partner to join one of our banking clients who possesses a deep understanding of hardship obligations and has demonstrated knowledge of other key regulations, including the Banking Code of Practice, Corporations Act, Consumer Credit legislation, ASIC regulatory guides, and the Privacy Act.The Senior Partner - Hardship Compliance is responsible for:
- Performing independent review, advice, and challenge of initiatives to ensure they comply with financial services obligations and that any conduct risks are properly managed.
- Quickly, accurately, and effectively assess and raise any issues and incidents to ensure the Project is meeting obligations
- They are compliant with relevant financial services obligations, including the National Consumer Protection Credit Protection Act, ASIC Act, Corporations Act, ASIC Regulatory Guides, Privacy Act etc
- Any conduct risks are identified and that controls in place to manage those risks are avoided, limited and/or managed.
- Reviewing new and current processes, policies, procedures, training, customer collateral etc to assess the quality, effectiveness, and controls to ensure compliance.
- Contributing to the improvement in quality and effectiveness of processes, policies, procedures, training, customer collateral and controls to ensure compliance.
- Supporting the Project assess and implement regulatory changes.
- Establishing and maintaining strong, constructive, open, and transparent relationships with the Project stakeholders and staff at equivalent levels
