The Senior Partnership Manager is responsible for driving the Qantas Group’s Hotels and Holidays proposition to market, ensuring a diverse product range providing choice and value to customers and partners alike, ensuring customer travel needs and supplier business needs are achieved.
This role forms part of a broader cross-functional squad, who work together to deliver Hotels and Holidays business objectives. The Senior Partnership Manager is responsible for the strategy design, development, management and growth of a portfolio of external commercial partnerships driving value to Qantas Loyalty, the frequent flyer member and the partner. The position is responsible for driving growth via the identification, negotiation, contracting and onboarding of new partnerships and the development, retention and value optimisation of a portfolio of existing partnerships.
Further to this, this role will play an active role in broadening the Qantas Group’s Hotels and Holidays offering into other travel verticals, ensuring Hotels and Holidays offers solutions across the broad travel needs of customers.
The Senior Partnership Manager is the primary point of contact for allocated key accounts & third party suppliers and is actively focused on developing the Hotels & Holidays proposition in market and executing against the Sales and Partnership mission, focused on delivering revenue growth and margin optimisation outcomes
You’ll have:
10 years + experience in the travel industry, in particular an online travel agency with strong knowledge of Online travel agency distribution
Experience in a Commercial, Business Development and Strategic role
Business related degree or relevant tertiary qualification
Significant capability and experience in partnership management, commercial awareness, contracting and negotiation, strategy development and implementation
Capable of redesigning business practices to deliver breakthrough results
Understands market interrelationships and implications; identifies emerging market opportunities
Contributes to strategy beyond own area; contributes to the development of segment strategy
Capable at acting as a functional business partner; contributes to broad business perspective
Capable of building partnerships as well as exhibiting strong stakeholder management
Able to support specific development needs and provide coaching to a tailored development plan
Capable of mobilising individuals to change; builds group momentum for change
Ability to manage and prioritise diverse business objectives and resolve complex issues
Ability to engage people through communication and leadership skills and influence positive outcomes
Able to build enduring customer relationships; acts as a customer advocate
Strives to empower teams to performance; inspires high performance teams
Demonstrates an innovative, collaborative and responsive style
