- MARS Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a prestigious and globally recognisable fast food restaurant chain who are seeking an experienced Area Restaurant Manager to oversee a portfolio of restaurants in the south-west NSW region.
- Overseeing a portfolio of 4 restaurants, this role is crucial for maximising sales, profits, and operational efficiencies while ensuring high standards of customer service and food quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for sales growth and profitability.
- Ensure restaurants maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and food quality.
- Coach and develop team members, identifying and nurturing high-potential employees.
- Manage staffing functions and costs effectively, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Support stores to achieve sales targets while controlling costs through continuous improvement methodologies.
- Cultivate a culture of appreciation, recognition, and inclusion within teams.
- Maintain adherence to operational and safety standards, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Establish successful planning and review processes to meet operational objectives.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- High School certificate or equivalent, tertiary qualification preferred.
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate required.
- Demonstrated area management or restaurant management experience preferably in a fast-food chain.
- Knowledge of relevant industrial awards and WHS legislation.
- 5+ years of experience in retail or consumer-oriented service industry.
- 2+ years of experience in operations management.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
