A superb opportunity has arisen to join a mid-Market Private Equity fund. Our client has a successful track-record across a range of sectors, focusing on creating sustainable growth and enduring value.The fund provides capital for growth, recapitalisations, and buy-outs. They are a generalist investor who target established businesses with strong management teams where there is potential for value be added, not just through capital, but also through the fund’s experience and expertise. They place significant importance on partnering with management teams, believing that value is created through the alignment of objectives and a commitment to teamwork.The role:
- Work across all aspects of transaction process - origination, structuring, negotiation and execution.
- Responsibility for specific workstreams as well as transaction process management.
- Work actively with the portfolio companies post-acquisition, assisting their transformation and growth
- Train, mentor and review the work of junior employees to aid their ongoing development.
Candidate profile:
- Experience in Private Equity, acquisitive Corporate Development, or Investment Banking
- Strong financial, analytical, and commercial acumen
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Demonstrable interest in mid-market investing
- Positive, "can do" attitude which is accretive to the current culture
