Your impact:
Our team is growing and we are seeking a dedicated Payroll Implementation professional based in Australia who is eager to advance their career in Payroll and Implementation. You'll serve as the key player in ensuring seamless payroll configuration for a diverse portfolio of clients spanning various industries and complexities. Collaborating closely with our internal team of passionate payroll professionals and leveraging the support of cutting-edge payroll technology, you'll be at the forefront of simplifying and optimising payroll processes.
Your focus will be on delivering strategic payroll solutions tailored exclusively to Australian businesses. Harnessing your expertise in payroll legislation and best practices, you'll drive efficiency and accuracy in payroll processing, ensuring compliance and peace of mind for our clients.
A day in the life:
- Lead the project management of new client onboarding and Implementation following established processes including kick-off meetings, system configuration, training, parallel run, year to date import and go live (payroll processing)
- Provide excellent and proactive customer service in all dealings with your managed payroll implementation clients
- Provide advice and act as a subject matter expert on Australian payroll legislation
- As directed by the Payroll and Implementation Manager perform end-to-end processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly client pay runs in accordance with instructions, agreed expectations and best practice
- Perform full function payroll tasks including on-boarding, auditing, reconciliations, & terminations
- Prepare clear and detailed payroll handover notes/processes for the payroll partner to follow once project is completed
- Account management - liaising with clients on the phone, via email & virtually
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Experience with payroll implementations (high volume would be ideal) using a cloud based payroll system (ideally EH Payroll known previously as KeyPay) and accounting platforms
- Sound understanding of Australian Payroll Legislation
- Customer service skills
- Must enjoy working with numbers
- A high level of attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast paced, autonomous and process driven environment
- Problem solving and self-motivated
- Previous experience using Excel
